About Us

We are a small club with absolutely no dues, no rules, and no officers. This works because you can not find a more eager and happy-to-help group of people.

We are located in the heart of Texas. When the original group could no longer put on the car show here in Brownwood, we just could not let it die out; so began the Heartland Cruisers.

It was primarily the brain child of three, Paul, Donnie and Wayne, but it is in the heart and soul of countless rodders. The group just grows and grows.

In the year of 2009 we participated in many activities. The big event was our third Rod Run in June with 270 entries from everywhere you could imagine. At this show the Bangs High School JV Cheerleaders had the concession stand and were able to pay a large amount towards the coming years expenseswith the $1700.00 earned. Proceeds of $500.00 from the Burn Out Contest at our Rod Run went to the Early Volunteer Fire Department.

We also held a car show for Good Samaritan Ministries and raised $1500.00 for them.

We attended the Blanket Volunteer Fire Department Fundraiser and donated $250.00 to them.

Our club participated in the St. Mary's Church fundraiser and Car Show and also participated in Zephyr Chamber and Volunteer Fire Department Fundraiser.

We participated in the Bangs Mayfest Parade and Car Show.

We furnished 8 convertibles for the Brownwood Rodeo Parade.

Various other car shows held in conjunction with local groups:

Car Show for TSTC Fundraiser

Car Show at Victory Life Academy's Fall Festival

Car Show for Advance Auto Parts in Brownwood

Car Show in the coliseum, for the Brownwood Reunion

Participated in World of Wheels Car Show in Abilene, Texas and received the Best Club Award

Participated in the Brownwood Christmas Parade

Held 9 Car Shows at Sonic in Early, Texas on First Tuesday of Each Month

We attended the following area shows: Goldthwaite, Killeen, Copperas Cove, San Angelo, Bronte, Coleman, Abilene, Comanche, Gorman, Stephenville, De Leon, Dublin, Cross Plains, Good Guys in Ft. Worth, Snyder, Clyde, Lampasas, Gatesville, Carizo Springs.

In some form or fashion we competed in 40 events over the year. You know, there are only 52 weeks in a year, but who is counting when you are having fun.

What a Great Group we have, and thanks to all that pitch in and make it happen.

Welcome to our Website . If you are ever in Brownwood come by and visit.
